I'm an artist, craftsman and business owner living and working in central Ohio.
I have a B.A. in Visual Arts from Rutgers University where I concentrated in photography and film. I spent most of my career in the broadcast commercial production industry enjoying a successful career as a producer for several editing and post production companies in New York City. However, I always carried a camera wherever I went, specifically my analog Pentax SLR that I continued to take many pictures with over the years. I work mostly with my digital SLR, but I still reach for my collection of vintage cameras to have fun with. One of my passions is collecting old cameras, and I currently own a Graflex, A Diana Lomo, A Polaroid Land, a Bolsey 35mm, several twin reflexes, and a couple old Kodaks. Some work, some don't.
I am self taught on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for basic design skills, which are part of the tools I use to create most of my art. I currently exhibit some of my photography at shows within central Ohio. However, crafting an item that incorporates my photographs and my design ideas is truly what I enjoy doing the most.
After some moving around, a couple of different careers and a stint in the corporate world in marketing and graphic design, I have now launched "Revelry Press". I love to create new things and integrate found images in my work, so things are constantly evolving and developing as I find new items and images to use. As mentioned, my passion to create is at the center of all I do. And my eclectic taste is what enables me to create many things in many mediums, beyond the printed piece.
